The Company
Our client is one of Irelands Largest PLC's with locations across the globe. They are a leading player in supplying building materials to their clients in the Construction Industry. They are looking to add an Internal Auditor to their team based in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
Perform internal audit assignments from initiation to completion
Identify and manage risk for individual assignments and provide advice on risks and controls to different business units across the Group.
You will be involved in assessing the suitability and effectiveness of internal controls and procedures and implement changes where necessary
Proactively look for areas of improvement during the audit process and make suggestions accordingly
Follow-up and tracking of management’s corrective actions in response to findings, and verification of issue closure
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified ACA/ACCA from a Big 4 accounting firm
Industry training with Internal audit exp
3+ years working in Internal or external audit
strong technical knowledge;
IFRS knowledge
2nd language a distinct advantage
Forward-thinking attitude with the ability to get things done
Open to travel
