Our client, a Global Leader in their field, is seeking a skilled and experienced Global Mobility Manager to own and drive all recurring mobility processes and communications, including rotation assignments, facilitating transitions/office moves, and onboarding new hires.

This role will involve working directly with the senior leadership team and the HR Director and will work on projects and advisory assignments. This role will ideally suit someone with Global Mobility Tax experience, as well as, practical experience in dealing with assignee issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance all Global Mobility Programmes including International Transfer Programmes, International Assignment Programmes, Short Term Assignments

  • Own and drive all recurring mobility processes and communications, including rotation assignments, facilitating transitions/office moves, and onboarding new hires

  • Work with Tax/Global Mobility/Global Migration & Local HR Business Partners and HR teams to drive the relocation process.

  • Enhance and/or Build the Preferred Supplier List for all global mobility related external partners, i.e. Relocation companies, tax advisors, visa support services etc

  • Assignment oversight for right hires, local hires across EMEA and taxation, reward and contracting

  • Lead on complex relocations , advise and support employees and relevant stakeholders

  • Input on assignee lifecycle with appropriate colleagues in the business

  • Be the main point of contact for all colleagues on assignment and transfer to other regions within the group

  • Ensure all tax and employment reliefs are managed and compliant

  • Manage regional relationship with global tax provider – regular liaising with global tax provider within each country to provide tracker of income tax refunds due as well as tracker of what information is outstanding from which assignee to complete the income tax return process.

  • Manage tax equalisation refunds process.

  • Collaborate with internal payroll team and external Payroll provider to manage and approve shadow payroll. Regular review of pay components within HR system as well as liaising with finance department are required to ensure all taxable benefits are identified and taxed accordingly via shadow payroll

  • Ensure all available tax reliefs applications are in place within each country where applicable

Responsibilities:

  • Global assignment management end to end at a senior level

  • EMEA experience essential

  • Tax Qualification ideally

  • Ability to project manage and work with complexity

  • Expertise in on cost, legal and contractual hiring requirements across EMEA

  • Commercially aware, analytical, numerate and customer focused
