Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Advise on relevant legal, regulatory and corporate governance issues affecting the Company and the Funds under management on an ongoing basis.
Review, draft and negotiate all relevant fund documentation, agreements, and service provider agreements from a legal perspective.
Liaise and work cross-functionally across the global group regarding new fund launches, relevant updates, and/or group initiatives as required e.g marketing, sales, business development.
Working with the relevant local agent, manage the registration of Funds in other jurisdictions as appropriate. Review KIID documentation.
Liaise with the Central Bank on relevant Funds issues as required.
Review, maintain and enhance the compliance reporting framework to senior management and the boards of directors of the funds under management.
Attend and participate at monthly and quarterly board meetings, and also, attend regular meetings with relevant investment managers.
Instruct and manage relationships with external counsel on various projects as appropriate.
Manage and develop client relationships as appropriate.
Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory changes and provide regular advice and updates to senior management as appropriate.

Key Skills & Requirements:
Irish qualified lawyer, a minimum of 3 years PQE but more experienced candidates will also be considered.
Experience working within an Asset Management/Investment Funds team at a leading law firm.
Experience working as In-House Legal in a Management Company, Fund Administrator or Financial Services business advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience in an international organisation with a global client base advantageous.
Excellent technical knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory landscape, including relevant Central Bank requirements. Prior experience liaising with the Central Bank advantageous.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including at board & senior management level.
Excellent client relationship management and development skills.
Proven experience building and developing relationships across business units.
Commercial, solutions-focused and adaptable.
