Job Description

Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager - (Relocation to Cayman Islands)
Corporate Title: Financial Reporting Manager


Your key responsibilities:
| Preparing and reviewing financial statements for investment funds and other financial services entities in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS and other local GAAPs
| Managing the financial reporting process on behalf of large multinational clients, acting as liaison with various internal and external parties, including auditors, administrators and investment managers
| Working under challenging deadlines and taking ownership for completing work within specified time frames
| Assisting senior management team and partners on ad hoc financial reporting and regulatory advisory projects
| Building and maintaining relationships with clients to anticipate and accommodate future workloads
| Reviewing and providing critical feedback to team members to ensure the completion of work in accordance with agreed time lines
| Using MS Word and MS Excel to create, edit and review documents for the production of financial statements for external distribution
| Reviewing documentation for consistency of language in financial statements and accompanying notes, ensuring uniformity in format and language as well as accuracy of spelling, grammar and punctuation
| Verifying accuracy of computations on report statements and footnotes
| Delegating appropriately to team members and ensuring effective communication throughout the process
| Due to our expanding global client base, opportunities for international travel may also be available
| Opportunities to work on other projects across the office in Cayman
| Assist in areas such as business development to build out the service in the Cayman office

To qualify for the role you must have:
| ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
| 5+ years of financial reporting and/or audit experience for investment funds
| Relevant experience working in Financial Services fund environment (Top 10 experience a plus)
| Excellent proofreading skills, attention to detail and a practical mindset
| Technical judgement and commercial acumen
| Excellent organisational skills
| Proficiency in MS Office
| Strong team working and interpersonal skills
| Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines to ensure compliance requirements are met
| Excellent verbal and written communication skills
| Experience of working in a team environment with a keen interest in developing team members
| Ability to take ownership of own professional development
