Financial Planning Analyst

The Opportunity

Phoenix is delighted to be working with a well-known Irish brand who is undergoing exponential growth. As a result, they are expanding their finance team and are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join them.

Working as part of the wider team, this role encompasses all aspects of the FP&A function and will assist with budgeting across multiple jurisdictions, analyse trends and advise management on best actions, build and manage financial models and support the overall finance plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, manage and maintain financial models to assist the business in analysis trends;

  • Assist with the preparation of budgets & forecasts;

  • Analyse business performance and advise management on best actions;

  • Liaise with various stakeholders across the business to better understand projections;

  • Work closely with the business partnering team to drive initiatives through the business, and;

  • Ad hoc projects as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an FP&A function;

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA);

  • Exposure to a fast paced environment essential;

  • Strong MS office skills;

  • Experience with SQL, Cognos, Power BI & Alteryx advantageous, and;

  • Must have a proven record of strong data analytic skills.
