We are working with a specialist Asset & Wealth Management team who are looking for a newly qualified accountant to join their team based in Dublin. This team work closely with high profile financial heads within the banking & aviation Industry.

The Opportunity

Our client is looking to hire a newly qualified accountant who has experience working within Asset & Wealth Management, Insurance or Banking with a public practice or in Industry. This candidate must have strong technical accounting skills and some process improvement experience is also an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out financial analysis on regulatory and accounting policies

• Providing input into the design and implementation of the business unit strategy;

• Build relationships with clients and ensure the highest standard of service is provided

• Improving the financial statement close process through a reduction in timelines

• increasing the robustness or quality of the output;

• Assist with the on-shoring or off-shoring of financial reporting and finance-related processes.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA or equivelent

• Experience in a variety of funds types/structures such as mutual funds, UCITs,

• Practice trained in financial services audit or have Industry experience in financial services

• Direct insurance, banking or Asset Management experience an advantage

• Very strong technical accounting skills

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to manage several projects/task at once
