The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised, Financial Accountant who is eager to work in the Construction Industry. You will be in charge of the financial accounts for the entire Irish Group and will receive training from the Head of Finance. You will also gain opportunities to interact at all levels of the business and develop relationships with senior management.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of Financial Statements/Reconciliations. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team Preparation of budgeting and forecasting Assist with the year-end external audit process. ensure internal processes within the accounting function and IT systems are up to date and efficient Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts annual financial statements and annual budgets. VAT and CT filing ad hoc projects as they arise
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACA. ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) 2+ years PQE Excellent communication and organisational skills experience working with ERP systems such as SAP is desired Experience working within a commercial environment is a distinct advantage Keen interest in pursuing a career within the Finance team. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability with high accuracy.
