Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic General Ledger finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and challenging the accuracy and timeliness of monthly General Ledger accounts and processes. This role will work closely with the Financial Controller and involve working across multiple teams to ensure the most accurate reporting.
- Oversee and manage the company's general ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording of financial transactions.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing processes, ensuring timely completion and adherence to accounting standards.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, variance reports, and other financial data, providing insights to support decision-making by senior management.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance in maintaining the general ledger.
