I am currently working with an excellent Irish business with over 50 years in business, +100m revenue and a large finance team this role will manage 6 and have ownership. Will suit a strong technical accountant with management experience. The role is a 12 month maternity leave, but due to growth could offer permanency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and finalise the month-end Reporting
• Analytic reviews - management accounts and variance analysis
• Assist the external and internal auditors on queries
• Ensure compliance from an accounting perspective in line with governing bodies
• Year end Financial Statement preparation and sign off
• Lead a team of 6 accountants
• Drive on team members, mentor and create a first class finance team
• Ad-hoc projects - Involved in finance projects

Desired Competencies:

• Qualified accountant 5 years PQE+ (ACA/ACCA)
• Proven staff supervision experience
• Technically sound accounting ability
