​Our client is looking for an ambitious and experienced hire, entrepreneurial by nature and commercially focused. The person will be dynamic, able to pivot and add value beyond the finance function. The CEO is highly regarded and with access to them and the board, you will be integral to the business's growth and strategy.

The business is in the Renewable Energy sector, with the growth of ESG this will offer a career-defining role for the successful applicant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function, overseeing all financial opportunities for the business.

• Identify potential targets, for acquisition and then deliver.

• Ensure synergies are identified and actionable, relay to management to oversee.

• Complete a comprehensive review of all systems and internal controls. Suggest and delegate suitable improvements and where possible technology.

• Help scale the business, from a financial perspective.

• Liaise with the CEO and board, to predict and forecast financials via the use of key metrics in the business.

• Drive productivity, profitability and business growth.

• Creatively maximise the ROI of financial assets.
  

Candidate:

• Works best in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven track record of Mergers, Acquisitions and or funding.

• Qualified Accountant with 8+ years PQE

• Manage and prioritise multiple projects

• Dynamic and Entrepreneurial. Can see the bigger picture and think outside the box

• Has attention to detail and can work in the minutiae

• Proven lead, leads from the front and can bring others along the journey.

• Commercially astute and can move ahead of the market

• Motivated to make an impact
