ECM Associate Director, Industrials - London

Phoenix Search has partnered with a UK investment bank that provides a range of investment banking services and an execution services hub that provides liquidity to UK capital markets.

The Associate Director role provides constant exposure to the UK equity capital markets including corporate clients, other advisers and, where appropriate, institutional investors across in whichever Investment Banking sector team the Associate Director is assigned. This allows the Associate Director to be very sector specific - Peel Hunt operates a Specialist model at the associate level and above.

The department is sector focused, operating across eight sector verticals (Consumer, Healthcare, Real Estate, Industrials, FIG, Investment Funds, TMT and Natural Resources), aligning the Investment Banking Department to leverage Research analyst's knowledge and sector intelligence. Dedicated ECM Syndicate, DCM, PCM, M&A, IPO Origination and IR teams support the sector teams.

Associate Directors are expected to have the core skills to be able to manage projects, hold clients relationships, be technically strong, capable of pitching and identifying/ instigating marketing initiatives and to be able to hold internal relationships across departments within the firm such that the individual Associate Director is deemed to be fit for purpose/ has the confidence of his colleagues in Research, Sales and Compliance.
