The Company

Our client are a leading advisory firm who have recently established a Debt Advisory division. Due to continued project wins, they are keen to hire an experienced Debt Advisory Manager or Associate Director. This particular team are preparing for a strong growth period which will provide a unique opportunity for progression for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing refinancing options to support growth strategies and advice on optimal capital structures

  • Negotiating new money fundraisings

  • Building and reviewing financial models for assessing the viability of transaction structures and determining appropriate debt levels.

  • Preparing transaction-related documents, including teasers, management presentations and overviews of financing options.

  • Helping borrowers manage their lenders in stressed situations

  • Ability to manage transaction processes, including the preparation of information packs, presentations and financial analysis  production of all credit MI for group purposes providing in-depth loan book analysis


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong academics, including ACA/CFA or equivalent (desirable but not essential depending on other experience).

  • Previous exposure to Debt Advisory or Lending is highly desirable.

  • Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and interpret large amounts of data quickly.

  • Client and team focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • High level of project management and organisational skills.

  • The desire and ability to be involved in business development activities.
