The Client:
An Irish multinational retailer with Headquarters in Dublin is looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join their team to assist with managing, developing and maintaining the ongoing data protection compliance programme.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop and maintain the ongoing data protection compliance programme
- Lead and develop training programmes for current and new employees across 13 regions
- Responsible for reporting subject access requests, and reporting to DPO
- Support senior management in defining strategic actions to support compliance & data protection
- Manage and develop the compliance communications strategy
- Responsible for activity area within Legal Compliance including day to day organisation of the work of the team and subject matter expert on all activities and processes
- Monitor and understand key trends and issues both internally and externally, and identify opportunities for improvement in processes
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of People Management experience in previous roles
- Qualification in Data Protection such as CIPP, CDPO, CIPM or equivalent.
- Experience managing data protection programmes and matters within an international organisation including reviewing new market initiatives, data subject requests, incidents and breaches
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions advising on Compliance topics
