The Client:
Leading Irish insurer and intermediary are looking to hire a compliance manager to assist in the development of the compliance function.
Located in the Mid-West of Ireland, the role will offer a highly agile and flexible approach for candidates who are not from the area
The Opportunity:
Work alongside the Senior Leadership team, helping to execute the Compliance plan for the business
Work across 2 separate legal entities, essentially being the main Compliance POC for the intermediary
Will act as a deputy Head of Compliance at times
Highly agile approach to work - very flexible in terms of location and back to work vs work from home
Excellent package and a demonstrated career path to a more senior role
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Working across and leading multiple regulatory projects, ensuring all compliance policies and procedures are up to scratch
Carry out Compliance audits on all aspects of the business
Responsible for Horizon scanning against all upcoming potential regulatory changes
Develop and implement the compliance training programme
Work closely with the CBI and FCA for all regulatory requirements
The Ideal Candidate:
5+ years experience across Compliance with strong knowledge of insurance the preference
Experience working alongside the CBI or other regulatory bodies
Preferable: ACOI, Post-Grad
