Commercial Due Diligence Consultant 

Our client is an independent Consulting business that provides core commercial due diligence (CDD) and analysis for Private Equity clients seeking to make strategic acquisitions as well as conducting bespoke strategy projects for Portfolio Companies within PE portfolios.    

The firm supports - clients across a plethora of industry sectors, including technology, professional services, industrials, financial services, business services, healthcare and travel.

Clients truly value the work the firm provides and as such, there remains a consistent flow of business as well as the need to strategically grow the firm in new sectors and increase the firm’s capabilities.

The firm therefore seeks to appoint a Consultant to support the Directors and Partners deliver world-class CDD to transactions, focusing on high-quality strategic guidance and operational insight to add value to the client beyond the actual transaction.

The Consultant in the firm role will be challenging and varied.  

The successful candidate will carry out primary desk research on any industry or commercial sectors and provide an understanding of market environments and due diligence, providing clients with the intelligence needed for them to make informed decisions.

They will also own the reporting on and/ or documenting findings, making key conclusions and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and clients and concisely, in a compelling format.

The role will suit an individual who is academically bright and curious but who also shows good gut instincts, can understand market drivers, can demonstrate experience of both qualitative and quantitative research capabilities (often dealing with large datasets), can understand the levers that make businesses work, understands what numbers or information make sense and also draw clear and tangible conclusions from research work conducted.

Moreover, an individual who can communicate clearly to and network around a broad range of Board level and C-suite level clients/stakeholders will thrive in this role.
