Our Client:
Phoenix have partnered with a dynamic, expanding global corporate service provider who are looking for a Commercial Director.
The Opportunity:
Develop, implement and lead our client's business development for Capital Markets in the UK, Europe and Ireland to deliver consistent growth in sales across all applicable Capital Markets product/service lines with exposure to the Global Head of Capital Markets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the UK Commercial, Operations, Marketing and Capital Markets divisions to devise, implement and lead an effective, target business development programme;
  • Ensure delivery against annual new business targets and longer-term business plan for the UK;
  • Develop a short and medium term Go-To-Market strategy and specific business plans for Capital Markets services.
  • Develop and manage a Capital Markets product pricing framework;
  • Identify and close specific CM client opportunities in United Kingdom whilst continually building pipeline;
  • Act as the Capital Markets representative/subject matter expert for clients and the industry;
  • Work cross functionally and across relevant global locations;
  • Actively source domestic and cross border transactions;


Key Skills, Attributes & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience and track record in senior role within the Capital Markets industry;
  • Knowledge of debt capital markets, structured finance transactions and derivatives;
  • Proven track record managing commercial relationships in the industry;
  • Strong knowledge of CM structures in the UK market including ABS and bond issuances, CLOs, structured lending operations, familiarity with SPV and Transaction Administration. ;
  • Relevant Sales/marketing background in financial services/Corporate Banking, etc;
  • Strong network in the Capital Markets industry;
  • Experience developing and negotiating partnership agreements and Capital Markets documents, experience with fee structures;
  • Adaptable, driven, commercial and self-motivated;
