The Role:


As a Business Development Representative you will foster growth by identifying new business opportunities across the UK. You will identify leads and develop a pipeline, foster strong working relationships, provide insurance solutions responding to customers needs and demands. You will work closely with the senior team building strong relationships with business partners and Head of Strategic Partnerships UK and with other senior employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and Identify companies within the UK and Iberia market.
  • Build a pipeline of leads, qualify, build rapport and transform these opportunities into warm leads.
  • Quickly identify business challenges that our prospective customers face and using consultative sales methodology providing solutions for their business
  • Develop relationships with partners from market research. Strategise a sales approach, preparing pitches and closing deals.
  • Attend events to support the head of partnerships increasing prospecting lists.
  • Generate insights from data and act as a trusted advisor to business partners
  • Forecast and monitor account metrics, keep records of policy transactions and customer happiness and report externally and internally
  • Regularly review end consumer needs are met at purchase as well as claims level

Experience Required:

  • Min 3 years of professional experience in the B2B insurance industry as an business development executive within Fintech or Telco industries.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, business management (or similar)
  • Experience in prospecting, building pipeline of opportunities and closing deals.
  • Strong sales background ideally in B2B sales and experienced selling ot C-Level
  • Deep understanding, experience, and knowledge of digital platforms, ideally in mobility, travel, finance and/or experience sector / ideally in a sales, strategy or business analyst role
  • Previous experience with other B2B2C insurtech is advantageous
  • Previous experience in consulting is advantageous.

  • Languages: English, German, Spanish (depending on location and portfolio)
