Associate Director- Accounting Advisory

My Client a large Consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to join their Assurance Practice in New York to develop and grow with the practice in the NYC market with a primary focus on the commercial industry sectors of multi-national public companies and fast-growing pre-IPO companies.

What They are Looking for:

• 10 + Years of experience in a Big 4/ Top 20 firm advising publicly traded companies in M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, carve-out, IPO
• Proven track record as an influential change agent, championing, organizing, and successfully and efficiently executing new ideas and initiatives
• Vast experience analyzing complex accounting transactions including debt/equity transactions, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, consolidations, acquisitions, and divestitures,
• Strong US GAAP and IFRS experience and ability to provide guidance to team on technical accounting matters

• Excellent strategic planning and operational deployment leader that is able to translate vision and strategy into clear efficient successes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including comfort with executive audiences
• Experience in Mentorship role leading and developing teams
