Our client, a global film and production company, headquartered in Dublin, is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy Finance Department in. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team working on really exciting projects.

This is a permanent, full-time contract in a hybrid work situation; a mixture of working remotely from home and in their Dublin City based office as required.

About the role:

As part of the Finance Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accounts payable function for several companies. They will work closely with accountants to ensure invoices are processed quickly, accurately and in line with relevant contracts. Key responsibilities:

  • Invoice matching, coding & processing
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Preparing & processing weekly supplier payment runs
  • Monthly creditor reconciliations
  • Processing bank transactions
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Processing employee expenses, per diems & credit card transactions
  • Processing company online purchases
  • Filing and archiving
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Assist in other book-keeping and accounts maintenance tasks as required

Experience required:

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, general accounting and control / reconciliation tasks
  • Accounting technician or part-qualified accountant, or strong administrative background with experience in AP/invoicing etc
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes
