The Opportunity
This role will support the Finance Manager in maintaining processes & procedures that support the organisations business & control requirements.

This would suit someone who is newly qualified and looking to make their first move to industry!

Responsibilities

• Support the month end close process - Journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations for Payroll & Overhead accruals, Bank and Fixed Assets.
• Management of the payroll function. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in adherence with all deadlines (payments, statutory returns, journals etc)
• Monthly Inventory Cycle Counts.
• VAT returns and Intrastat & VIES
• Cash management.
• Other Statutory Returns for the business including CSO, IDA.
• Actively seek to improve areas of responsibility.

Qualification

• NQ Accountant - ACA/ACCA.
• High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
• ??????Highly motivated, self starter willing to meet strict deadlines.
